Glad to see you are still alive. I was beginning to wonder! Good luck and if London won't employ you, come back to the USA and I bet someone here will scoop you up! :-)

Fried chicken, huh? I never would have thought. Maybe I should move over there and start a chain. I could call it Frikin' Fried Chicken (like the alliteration? :) Now all I have to do is learn how to make fried chiken...wow, you would think a southern girl would have that knowledge.

Whoa look whose blog is back in bidniz! Hooray! You can add "Texa" Fried Chicken to the mix. It is near Elephant on the Old Kent Road, not far from Bricklayers Arms. For most of my time in London I thought it was supposed to be "Texas" Fried Chicken and that the "s" had just fallen off. One day I was walking by and had a good look, though, and there was no evidence that there had ever been any "s" next to "Texa."

Then I found £20 in my pocket.

I go back tomorrow. I don't know how I feel about that. I used to be excited, but I hate packing and don't want to leave

Christian,
The Sports Cafe in Piccadilly Circus usually shows nationally broadcast Steelers games. There is also a pub right next to the West Kensington tube station (on the District Line) that shows the Steelers games. I can't remember the name of it, but it's immediately to your right as you exit the tube station.

Hope you have a good time in London!

Hello - I came across your blog doing some googling for Steelers bars in London. I will be there for two weeks in Sep - including the Cincy game (week 3). I was curious if you have any suggestions on where to watch the game? thanks -

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty darn excited about the prospect of football season. You can smell it in the air. We might even make our own appearance at Camp Cahhh-er tomorrow!!
